Libraries, Galleries & Museums
With 16 locations across the city, the recently completed Central Library in Galleria downtown London, the London Public Library offers a state of the art system of books, video and electronic services. Library cards are available free to residents of the City of London and to residents of Middlesex, Oxford and Elgin Counties (excluding the towns of Woodstock and Tillsonburg) under reciprocal borrowing agreements.
Our unique heritage of arts and culture is brought to life at museums and galleries across the city including Museum London, the Children's Museum, the London Museum of Archaeology, the McIntosh Gallery at the University of Western Ontario and The Arts Project in the heart of downtown. In addition, many private galleries can be found across the city and enjoyed during events like Doors Open, an annual fall event showcasing London's heritage.
